Singer LK100 (9mm)

This is a durable plastic bed 9mm machine. It's very basic and the stitches are all hand manipulated. The stitches are nice and even, there are several tension settings and works well with the popular yarns on the market from worsted weight to bulky weight and some of the eyelash yarns. You could probably go down to sport weight, but it would depend on the type of fabric you want to knit.
